About Jim
As Acquisitions & Collection Development Librarian for Watzek, I provide students and faculty with access to resources they need to do research. This means working to build a strong local collection of books, journals, and databases. I also work closely with my colleagues in the Orbis-Cascade Alliance to expand and strengthen the regional collection available to you through Summit.
I've worked at Lewis & Clark since 2007, moving to Portland from Atlanta area. My background is in Film Theory and American Studies, and I am the coordinator of Watzek Screens (movies) and Watzek Spins (music). In my off hours, I have a bi-weekly community radio show Saturday mornings on Freeform Portland.
