Instruction Services: Graduate School of Education & Counseling

Bridging the Divide

Graduate students face challenges obtaining the information they need.  Some are returning to school after many years and need to orient themselves to the way academic libraries work.  Many need to do their research remotely, so they rely on ebooks, streaming video, and other sources that can be used from any location.  We help graduate student get up-to-speed with research tools and strategies. Some sessions are general introductions, e.g. research tools in counseling psychology; while others are specialized, e.g. children's literature at Watzek.

Be in touch to inquire about library instruction for your graduate class.  We are happy to host your session in your classroom at the Graduate Campus, in Watzek Library, or online over Zoom.  Please contact Elaine Hirsch for library instruction.
