Current Lewis & Clark students, faculty, and staff can continue to borrow library items. Due dates that fall between November 21, 2020 and January 18, 2021 will be automatically renewed until January 19, 2021. This applies to items from Lewis & Clark, Summit, and interlibrary loan.
Students who do not plan to return for Spring 2021 should return all items before leaving campus or be prepared to return them by mail.
All course reserves are checked out for three hours at a time and must be used in the library.
Only current students, faculty, and staff are permitted to enter Lewis & Clark libraries. We are therefore unable to loan materials to alumni, Neighborhood Pass holders, and other guests. We look forward to welcoming you at a later time.
Lewis & Clark students, faculty, and staff may request items through Summit and interlibrary loan. Shipments may be delayed due to COVID precautions, closures, and reduced staffing across our network of partner libraries. Please allow extra time when placing your request.
Faculty and students who live off campus and are completing all of their courses remotely can have up to ten library items (including Lewis & Clark, Summit, and interlibrary loan materials) mailed to their home address. Items will be delivered via USPS Priority Mail with pre-paid return postage included. We are only able to mail items within the United States.
Return all course reserves to staff at the library service desk.
To reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19, all other items returned to the library will be quarantined for 72 hours before returning to circulation. Please allow up to one week for items to clear from your library account. Fines will not be charged.
Due dates that fall between November 21, 2020 and January 18, 2021 will be automatically renewed until January 19, 2021. When possible, we encourage you to return items before leaving campus as lost or damaged items will be subject to replacement fees.
