Watzek Library Response to Coronavirus: Borrow

Summit Service Resumes August 3rd

Beginning August 3rd, Lewis & Clark students, faculty, and staff may request items from select Summit libraries. Shipments may be delayed due to COVID precautions and reduced staffing across our network of partner libraries. Please allow extra time when placing your request.

Request Items from Watzek

Beginning June 15th, Lewis & Clark students, faculty, and staff may request items from Watzek Library for pickup the following business day.

  • Place your request in Primo, the library's online catalog.
  • Select Watzek Library or the Graduate Campus as your pickup location.
  • You will receive an email when the requested item is available for pickup. We will hold it for you for two weeks.
  • Collect your items at the Watzek Library Service Desk or at York Commons, Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. No appointment is needed.

Items from Boley Law Library and Interlibrary Loan (beyond Summit) are not currently available for checkout. Electronic copies of articles and book chapters may be requested through interlibrary loan.

Return Items to Watzek

There is no need to return overdue items to the library at this time. Please disregard any automated overdue notices that you may receive from circ@lclark.edu.

You may keep Lewis & Clark library materials, Summit materials, and Interlibrary Loan materials until the start of the fall semester. (Graduating seniors should plan to return all materials in person or by mail by the end of the current academic year.) We will waive any fines that may accrue in the interim.

If you would like to return your items sooner, there is a 24-hour book drop located outside the library, to the right of the front doors.
