Readers

Readers are shortened or abridged versions of books with pictures, glossaries, and other elements to make reading easier.

Finding Books at Watzek

Use Primo to find books at Watzek, write down the LC classification number, also known as the call number.

Find the book on the shelf using that number.  Here is a map to help you.  Ask for help at the Library Service Desk.

How to Read a Call Number

Call numbers in American academic libraries are used to classify books according to academic discipline.  The book below is about the Japanese Internment experience.  Notice how the call number is used to define the subject of the book.  For more information on how books are classified, see the Library of Congress Classification Outline.
