Lewis & Clark students, staff, faculty, alumni, and retirees may borrow materials from Watzek with a valid College ID or alumni card (available through Alumni Relations at the College of Arts & Sciences or the Graduate School of Education and Counseling).
Current students and employees of Summit colleges and universities also enjoy borrowing privileges with a valid school ID card.
Members of the public are welcome to visit Watzek Library and use materials on site. While we cannot extend borrowing privileges to members of the public, we do lend to other libraries including Multnomah County Library, Washington County Cooperative Library Services, and Libraries in Clackamas County. Please contact your local public library to inquire about interlibrary loan services.
Faculty and staff may designate another professor, student, or staff member as a proxy. This proxy will be allowed to check out materials at Watzek on your behalf. By authorizing a proxy, you accept all responsibility for items checked out on your library record, including applicable fines and charges. You can designate a proxy by completing this form.
Students may not designate a proxy. Exceptions may be made for students with accommodations provided by the Office of Student Accessibility. Contact OSA to inquire about library accommodations.
Library circulation records are strictly confidential. Information from these records is not given out to a third party unless the borrower has designated a library proxy.
