Summit
Summit is a system for borrowing books from other college and university libraries in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. You can request items from Summit in Primo, the library's online catalog. Requested items typically arrive within three business days.
Current students, staff, and faculty may also check items out in person at any Summit location. Be sure to bring your Lewis & Clark ID card.
Interlibrary Loan
Books and other materials not available through Summit can be requested through interlibrary loan (ILL). You can discover items available at libraries around the world and submit requests using WorldCat. ILL delivery times are dependent on the U.S. Postal Service. Please allow up to two weeks for physical items to arrive.
You can also request pdf copies of journal articles and book chapters using your ILL account. You will receive an email notification when your pdf is available for download, typically within one to two business days. Use the "Request Interlibrary Loan" option in Primo or log into your ILL account and click "Create Request." Copy requests are limited to one chapter per book or one article per journal issue.
Check due dates and renew eligible items in your library account. Items that have been requested or have reached their maximum loan period are not renewable.
