Boley Law Library's Coronavirus Response: Research Support

How to Contact a Research Librarian

Research law librarians are available to assist students and faculty with research questions, citations, and many other legal research questions that come up.

Librarians are set up to help in many ways:

  • Email: lawlib@lclark.edu
  • Phone: 503-768-6688
  • Chat: Librarians are available to chat during reference hours. Have a question not during reference hours? Chat will automatically send your question to our email account. Look for the green chat button on each Boley Law Library page. (Please note orange chat buttons will send questions to Watzek Library on Lewis & Clark's undergraduate campus.)
  • Reference Appointment: Reference appointments can be made weekdays with any of the reference librarians. As of March 13, 2020, all reference appointments will be held virtually via Zoom (or by phone if you prefer)
  • Need computer support? Try chatting via the new Computing Service's Virtual Help Desk chat.

Ready to search for answers by yourself? Check out the LibGuides that take the user through many common searches and topics for the law school, or search through the A-Z databases for more specialty searches.
