Ask a Law Librarian: Contact Us

We're here to help!

Reference law librarians are available to assist students and faculty with research questions, citations, and many other legal research questions that come up. Librarians are set up to help in many ways:

  • Email: lawlib@lclark.edu
  • Phone: 503-768-6688
  • Drop-in: Librarians are typically at the reference desk in the law library from 11am-5pm on weekdays. Click here for today's reference schedule.
  • Chat: Librarians are available to chat during reference hours. Have a question not during reference hours? Chat will automatically email the reference desk. Look for the green chat button on each Boley Law Library page. (Please note orange chat buttons will send questions to Watzek Library on Lewis & Clark's undergraduate campus.)
  • Reference Appointment: Reference appointments can be made weekdays with any of the reference librarians.

Ready to search for answers by yourself? Check out the LibGuides that take the user through many common searches and topics for the law school, or search through the A-Z databases for more specialty searches.
