Rob Truman is Associate Dean and Director of the Paul L. Boley Law Library, overseeing all aspects of the library, including research and reference, instructional services, content and collection management, circulation, resource sharing, and planning for future library and technological needs. Rob has taught a variety of legal research classes since 1999, and is currently teaching Legal Research: Environmental Law. He has served the library and the law school as Librarian for Legal Research Instruction; Assistant Director, Electronic Information Services; Reference Librarian; and Assistant Dean for Continuing Legal Education and Director, Oregon Law Institute. He has a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School and an M.L.S. from Emporia State University. Before coming to LC Law he was in private practice and was a Reference Librarian at the Willamette University College of Law.
Assistant Director, Research and Instruction

Mari manages the Research and Instruction Services department, provides reference services to library patrons, and teaches legal research courses. She has a B.A. in English from Walla Walla University, a J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law, and an M.L.I.S. from the University of Washington. Prior to joining the Boley Law Library, she was a reference librarian at the Utah State Law Library in Salt Lake City.
International and Foreign Law Librarian

Wendy serves as the Foreign and International Law specialist. She provides reference service to library patrons and teaches International and Foreign Legal Research. Wendy has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Massachusetts, a Master of Librarianship from the University of South Carolina, and a J.D. from the University of Oregon. She worked at the Oregon State Bar as a publications attorney editing CLE publications, and has also been a lobbyist, a jury consultant, and an attorney in private practice. Wendy was head of Public Services at Ohio Northern University Law School Library for 3 years and has worked in both public and university libraries as a reference librarian.
Research and Instruction Librarian

Jim provides research and reference services for everyone in the Lewis & Clark Law School community, and teaches both Advanced Legal Research and Legal Research: Advising Businesses. Previously, he served as the Branch Librarian for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Anchorage, Alaska. Jim also worked as a research librarian at Weil, Gotshal & Manges in Silicon Valley. He has a B.A. in English Language & Literature from Franklin & Marshall College, a J.D. from George Washington University Law School, and an M.S.L.I.S. from the Catholic University of America.
Meredith provides research and reference services for the law school community. She received her B.A. in American History with a concentration in jazz history from DePauw University, her J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law, and her M.L.I.S. from Indiana University in Indianapolis. Prior to coming to Boley Law Library, she served as the Island County Law Librarian (Coupeville, WA), Attorney Editor for Thomson Reuters, and Rules and Legislation Attorney for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
Access Services & Collection Support Assistant

Yvon is responsible for interlibrary loan fulfillment, maintaining the reserve collection, and insuring the integrity of the stacks. She is also responsible for processing new books and materials, maintaining and repairing the collection (i.e., call numbers, stamping, location tape, etc.).
Assistant Director, Collections and Content

Sarah oversees law library print and digital collections and online library research tools. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from Marylhurst University and an M.L.S. and graduate certificate in archives studies from Emporia State University. Prior to joining the Boley Law Library, Sarah held positions at the Portland Art Museum, Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, Mt. Hood Community College, Clackamas Community College, and Concordia University.
Senior Library Assistant/Technical Services

Dianne has general processing duties in the Acquisitions Department, including ordering new library materials, claiming overdue orders, processing gift items and general problem solving. She has a B.A. in Literature from Portland State University. Previous positions include interlibrary loan, cataloging and acquisitions at the Multnomah County Library, and positions at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and Federal Executive Board.

Liana is responsible for the acquisition, distribution and maintenance of the entire serials collection. She has a B.M. in Music Therapy from the University of the Pacific in California. Prior to joining the Boley staff, she worked in circulation at the Tualatin Public Library and in the Technical Services Department of the Library at the University of the Pacific.
