This guide was created for the Legal Issues in Higher Education course taught by David Ellis in the Student Affairs Administration program.

Getting Started

​This guide is an introduction to primary federal sources for legal research in the area of higher education. It also provides links to secondary sources such as books, treatises, and articles and provides pointers on how to search for secondary source material. All of the material on this guide is available to Lewis & Clark graduate school students from either off-campus or in either the Boley Law Library or the Watzek library.
