About Victoria

I'm the Temporary Research & Instruction Librarian for the spring semester and I'll be working with Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Rhetoric & Media Students, and SOAN.  Please contact me regarding purchase requests, consultations, instruction, and reference/research in these subjects.

I earned my Master of Science in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin School of Information in 2003, along with a Certificate of Advanced Study in the Administration of Preservation and Conservation Programs in Libraries and Archives.  My professional background includes work in all aspects of preservation and conservation of library materials; disaster planning and recovery; reference, research, and instruction in academic libraries; collection maintenance; integrated library system maintenance at a small library, and ILS migration at an academic library.  My current interests include student employee training, space and service design, and service sunset planning.
