Description:
The Economic Report of the President is an annual report written by the Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers. An important vehicle for presenting the Administration's domestic and international economic policies, it provides an overview of the nation's economic progress with text and extensive data appendices. The ERP details the current administration's economic programs and reviews the economy's past performance and outlook. The annual report of the Council of Economic Advisors is also included. Because it reflects the policies of the executive branch, the ERP is a political document. Two-thirds of the report is narrative and one third consists of 100 statistical tables covering major economic indicators. Reports available from 1995-present.
