One very late night during the Carnaval festival in Baños de Ambato, we spent time at the house of some indigenous Ecuadorians who play indigenous music as a professional group all throughout Ecuador. In this picture, from left to right, we have: Erik on the quena (Ecuadorian flute), Freddy on the panpipes, Sage, Emily, an amazing charango player (a type of small guitar/mandolin), Jaime on la guitarra (guitar), and Malcolm's knees.
