Don't let the stress of Reading Days get you down. Come to the library classroom for a spread of treats and diversions to help get you through the weekend: 8-10 pm, Thursday and Friday Dec 13 & 14.
The details:
- savory & sweet snacks and lots of caffeine
- coloring and games galore
- screening animated movies
- free 10 minute massages (sign up at 8 pm sharp-limited availability)
These events are organized by the Watzek Library Student Advisory Committee (SAC), and are made possible by the Student Initiatives Fund.

Don't let the stress of Reading Days get you down. Watzek Library is offering free food, free massages, and piñata bashing to help get you through this week. When? 8-10 pm, on both Reading Days.
The details:
Friday, April 29th, you can find free food and activities in the Library Classroom (Watzek 245). You can also sign up for a FREE 10 minute MASSAGE at 8 pm (limited availability)!
Saturday, April 30th, join us again at 8pm for free food and activities in the Library Classroom (Watzek 245). Don't forget to come out to the lobby around 8:45 for a chance to take out your frustration on a piñata full of great goodies!

Join us Tuesday, Sept 15 for the first meeting of the semester--here's why...
TEN--Free lunch. NINE--Help the library come up with cool ways to spend money--like the new furniture in the library atrium. EIGHT--Nerdy is HOT. SEVEN--Get famous (or at least get your photo up on the
SAC page ). SIX--Have your say about how Watzek can better serve LC students. FIVE--Let's face, it, your resume needs all the help it can get. FOUR--With a name like the Watzek SAC it has to be good. THREE--Not much of a time commitment-just two meetings a semester. TWO--Did you hear that-- free lunch! ONE--You know you want to!
The next meeting of the Watzek Student Advisory Committee will be Tuesday, September 15, noon- 1 pm in Geary (Templeton).

The Library's Student Advisory Committee is looking for new members! The committee meets twice a semester for a hosted lunch meeting with the following charge in mind:
- To open and maintain effective communication channels between students and Watzek Library staff
- To transmit the needs and feelings of the student body regarding the library
- To serve as a sounding board for programs and policies initiated by the library
- To serve as an advocacy forum for the library.
