Extended hours

Reading Days and Finals bring extended hours to Watzek Library. After opening at 9:00 am on Sunday, April 27th, the building will remain open around the clock until 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 8th.

Protect your belongings

protectbelongings The number of people using Watzek continues to grow as finals approach. Unfortunately, the possibility of theft also increases. Please remember that personal belongings should not be left unattended in the library. In particular, leaving materials behind to hold a study room is prohibited. Even short breaks away from laptops, phones, backpacks, jackets, and other items can result in theft. Please see staff at the Circulation Desk if an item is misplaced or taken.

Film Scholars Rejoice!

filmscholars Watzek Library now has access to the Film Literature Index, the first periodical index devoted to the literature of film, designed for the scholar, the student, and the general reader. It annually indexes 150 film and television periodicals from 30 countries cover-to-cover and 200 other periodicals selectively for articles on film and television. The Film Literature Index is known for its comprehensive indexing system that includes more than 2,000 subject headings for detailed analysis of articles and reviews.

National Library Week
