Over the winter break, we made some changes to our web site's home page. These changes include our new search widget, highlighted news items, and a random new addition to our collection. If you have any opinions on our site, please add a comment to this post.

The Library of Congress has joined forces with Flickr, the popular photo hosting site, to share its remarkable collection of early 20th century photographs. The LOC hopes users from around the world will enrich the image descriptions by contributing tags and comments.

The artwork of David Shratter, a long time Watzek Library staff member, is on display in the Library during spring semester.
David is a highly accomplished local artist, whose works include still life, neo-ashcan cityscapes of Portland, and pen and ink drawings. 
Watzek will rock once again at the fourth annual Watzek Rocks! concert.
This year's Watzek Rocks! will take place on the first Thursday of Spring term, January 24th at 4pm in the Library Atrium. Admission is free.
The lineup includes Portland's Dragging an Ox Through Water, and Lewis & Clark's Momo & the Coop and Valediction.
