August 31st, 2005
The former Art Department Slide Library is now under the administration of Watzek Library and is called the Visual Resources Collection. The new name reflects the increasing importance of digital images as a teaching resource and as a component of the collection. It contains over 50,000 slides and hundreds of digital images of the art and architecture of the world. Discover how you might integrate these images into your classroom teaching or presentations.

Web of Science

August 1st, 2005
Lewis & Clark students and faculty now have direct access to this important online resource. Web of Science includes two citation databases, Science Citation Index and Social Sciences Citation Index, and a third, Arts and Humanities Citation Index, which can be accessed separately.

These databases contain citations to the articles in thousands of scholarly journals, including the cited references at the end of the articles, and provide the capability of searching those references. Our coverage goes back to 1985.
